Our mission is simple: to make you fall in love with learning Spanish.

We're not interested in teaching you how to politely ask for directions to the nearest library. We won't be teaching you conjugations. We want you to be able to debate politics with a Madrid taxi driver & charm your way through a Buenos Aires farmers market. We want you to understand the Hispanic world!

What We're Not

We’re not here to replace your Spanish teacher, to be your sole source of language input, or to promise you’ll be fluent in 30 days. If that’s what you’re after, there are plenty of apps and courses out there making those claims.

We’re also not here to give you a sanitized, postcard version of Hispanic culture. The world is complex, and we’re not afraid to dive into the messy, controversial, and sometimes uncomfortable aspects of it.

We’re your companions in this crazy journey of Spanish learning. We’re here to:

We want to be clear: We will not teach you grammar or stuff!

The Uncomfortable Truth

Here’s the thing:

we can’t make you fluent in Spanish. No one can, except you. What we can do is make the journey a hell of a lot more interesting. We can keep you motivated, keep you curious, and maybe, just maybe, help you fall in love with the language and culture.

But it’s going to take work. It’s going to take commitment. And yes, sometimes it’s going to suck. But we promise it’ll be worth it.
